Blast Resistant Building Excessive Noise |

Excessive Noise In regard to the design of blast resistant buildings, Bebco recognizes that the source of excessive noise may be either internal or external depending on the purpose and location of the building. For example, control rooms may be located in the immediate proximity of loud chemical processing operations, while in contrast, equipment research, design and testing chambers for various devices may generate extreme noise levels that must be contained. For this reason, Bebco can provide blast resistant buildings that are acoustically engineered to attenuate internal noise sources or prevent the entry of external noise. Special construction materials and techniques most often utilized include high-density rock wool insulation, perforated metal, acoustical foam and air spaces. In extreme situations, Bebco can also provide active electronic noise cancellation systems for ultimate control.
