Blast Resistant Equipment Building

50' x 14' 8 PSI Blast Resistant Equipment Building,
with Two Blast Resistant Doors, Cable Entry Bulkheads & Conduit Couplings

This blast resistant equipment building houses a large array of computers and is rated to withstand blast forces up to 8 PSI, for a period of 200 milliseconds, at a reflective pressure of 19.2 PSI.  This equipment building was transported to our Client's refinery in Wyoming, and with it's heavy-duty base, 10' tall 3/16" plate steel walls and 6" channel iron framed walls, it tipped the scales at 86,000 pounds.  Since this blast resistant building only served to protect computer equipment, it projects an unassuming appearance and requires no windows.  However, as is standard for enclosed spaces of this size, the building features two blast resistant doors to provide a redundant means of egress.
