12' x 32' Power Plant MCC Building As a beautiful example of a properly designed motor control center or MCC fiberglass building, this structure was manufactured for a Pennsylvania Contractor who installed the MCC System at a high sulfur coal power plant in New Jersey. This FRP building features two large base bulkheads for underground conduit entries and numerous bulkheads low along one end wall and both side walls for cable entries under a raised flooring system. A close look reveals that the doors are elevated above the shelter base, to create a level transition from entry ramps to the raised floor. In addition, to isolate low voltage building power distribution, the Client requested closed wire duct around the perimeter of the floor. This FRP MCC Building was then completed by the installation of an HVAC unit, doorway entry rain hoods (not shown) which shipped loose, along with a complete interior and exterior lighting system. |
