Ceiling Height
For typical applications, 8 foot ceiling heights are adequate, and minimize issues regarding height limitations of a transported load.
However, several circumstances dictate the use of higher ceilings. Most obvious is the installation of tall equipment. In these cases, higher ceilings combined
with equipment doors and removable transoms satisfy most applications. Another issue that requires taller ceilings is adequate head clearance beneath overhead
equipment such as Division 1 Light Fixtures, HVAC Ductwork, a Suspended Ceiling, Water Sprinklers or Flame Sensors, that may reduce head clearance by up to several feet.
