Expands Capabilities ofModel IX-WAC Unit - The addition of new supply voltage ranges and broader area ratings is achieved to satisfy growing demands Taking product development to new levels of achievement, Bebco has dramatically expanded the capabilities of our UL listed Model IX-WAC Industrial Grade Wall Mount Air Conditioner. Beginning with hazardous location suitability, Bebco can now cross from Class I Division 2, Group C&D applications, up through Class I, Division 1, Group B, by incorporating purging technology to protect the motors of the system and by developing the use of Finned Heat Tubes to offer up to 5 kilowatts of heating capacity. Moreover, since the seal-welded urethane coated 316 grade stainless steel units have a tremendous capacity to withstand harsh corrosive chemical and marine environments, Bebco has also stepped the electrical ratings down to a general purpose or "non-rated" classification, to offer a lower cost platform for this extremely durable configuration. The end-result is an air-conditioner that can withstand any harsh environment imaginable with an option to provide protection against any degree of explosive hazard, which makes this unit a truly remarkable product.
